If you have not played Dead Space, the original game is still quite good looking, and very fun today (if you turn the graphics up.) Make sure you limit your PC's FPS to 60 or the physics in the game get really weird. Although I think even the GoG version will require you to register the game before it will run. And there are versions of that around that have no DRM attached. I believe the first Dead Space from 2008 does not require a constant connection. It's a silly requirement that drives customers away. I find it most annoying to be connected to play a single player game. Companies these days are way too possessive. It's a single player game, it should be playable offline.
